IPW History

Industrial Parts Warehouse began supplying customers with quality aftermarket parts and great service in January of 2000.  Chris Reynolds founder and President, took the leap of faith that many dream about.  Leaving his job with a large lift truck dealership, Chris took on the challenge of running a small business with an unrelenting work ethic.  With over a decade of experience, he knew what the market was lacking, which was an aftermarket parts supplier with a focus on the customer’s needs.  Industrial Parts Warehouse was aftermarket before aftermarket was cool.  As the customers continued to grow, so did the business, adding a service department and technicians operating as Lift Techs Inc.  Service and sales of used equipment quickly became a staple as customers knew they could depend on getting quality results.  Early 2002, another opportunity to serve our customers was created with a battery sales and service company.   Battery Techs Inc. gave customers a local option to service their industrial batteries.  2003 gave IPW Lift Techs the chance that most dealers dream of, to partner with Linde Material Handling.  Linde Material Handling is the premier lift truck manufacturer and one of the largest in the world.  We could now offer the Linde Lift Truck which has the lowest operating cost of any lift truck and also continue to save our customers money with our vast aftermarket parts inventory.

To continue to meet the customer’s needs, IPW added the Genie line of equipment as well as a rental fleet of telehandler’s and construction equipment.     A focus on the local economy drives our inventory.  We have added the paper roll ready large cushion tire lift trucks to the rental fleet due to paper products being the largest export for Savannah, GA, which are available for daily or long term.  IPW wants to be your partner for rental equipment.  2007 began by adding an additional partner in material handling with IPW Lift Techs and Hyundai Forklifts.  Hyundai Forklifts allows our customers an option of a quality machine at a competitive price.  Making a large impact on another industry, Hyundai introduced the best standard warranty available with 36 months or 4,000 hours full Machine.  Many people have come to rely on Hyundai vehicles to drive to work as well as the lift trucks to operate at work.

Today the material handling industry is experiencing many changes through consolidation and acquisition.  IPW Lift Techs will continue to be your locally owned dealer with a focus on your needs.  We look forward to helping you determine the best material handling solutions for your business.
